Sarfraz Khokhar is the founder and CEO of Rasimo Systems. His mission is to benefit humanity through technology by fostering trustworthy partnerships and making technology accessible and affordable for everyone. After spending 25 years in science and technology working for European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN) and large IT companies like IBM and Cisco, he decided to start Rasimo Systems with a great mission for humanity.

Sarfraz has vast expertise in a variety of technologies, equipping him to fulfill his mission to benefit humanity through technology. His first vision is Rasimo Systems’ flagship product, the SureFiz™ weight management system. Using a mix of technologies, this product implements the findings from years of research on obesity and weight management in a framework that is accessible and affordable for all.

Sarfraz has held various positions in his career, as a research fellow, scientist, engineer and architect. He has also represented large IT companies in standard bodies and fora. He is a frequent key note speaker in international conferences on technologies, and most recently was a speaker at an international conference on obesity. He holds multiple master’s degrees in science and engineering, a doctorate in electrical and computer engineering, and recently completed an executive MBA program.

Helen Mo is the vice president of manufacturing in a facility making medical devices, including the innovative scale for Rasimo Systems. Helen is a multitalented professional, leading marketing and sales teams as well as R&D. Throughout her 10 years in manufacturing health care devices, she has acquired core business acumen such as business strategy, leadership, and global relations, and provides vital support to Rasimo Systems.

Helen holds a bachelor’s degree in e-commerce and is well versed in modern logistics, economics and trade laws.

Erik Berger is a patent attorney who partners with executives and entrepreneurs to grow their intellectual property. After spending a decade working in engineering and international marketing roles, he co-founded a magnetoresistive random-access memory manufacturing facility. Erik knows what truly drives growth of IP assets— It’s how well you connect with people and understand their business needs.

Erik has held both corporate and law firm IP roles during his career and received Infineon Technologies’ “Set the Pace” award for revitalizing their patent practice. Erik truly believes his success is evident due to his practice of continuously learning and keeping up with new technologies. Erik received an outstanding paper award at a leading industry conference for his product development work. He is a former member of the Information Systems Technical Advisory Committee under the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota, and a Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law.

Shahzeel J. Khokhar is Chief Operating Officer of Rasimo Systems. He is a serial entrepreneur and has been actively innovating since an early age. Shahzeel has been a consultant and an advisor to dozens of startups along with launching his own ventures. While actively preparing for the launch of SureFiz™, he has already planned his next venture.

Shahzeel has expertise in operations, sales and marketing. While interested in technologies in general, he is quite passionate about artificial intelligence and its role in people’s daily lives. Shahzeel holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in philosophy and an MBA.
